We are excited to announce a new adventure at New Journey. We are starting Spirit Journey . . . A Center for Connection and Growth.
The Mission of New Journey United Church of Christ is “An Inclusive Community Engaged in Christ’s Journey of Love”.
As we establish a center that expands beyond Christianity, our mission for this ministry, Spirit Journey, will be “Inclusive Community Engaged in Love”.
Our Vision for Spirit Journey is “To create a center for connection and growth; encouraging the exploration of multiple spiritual paths through movement, meditation, dialogue and the arts”.
We are creating a space and time for more people to experience holiness and find the peace of connecting with something greater than ourselves. Spirit Journey will be a center for connections and growth; a place for both quiet and conversation, for curiosity and creativity.
Join us for meditation, books, films, discussions, drums, tai chi and pottery. Spirit Journey into a center for all who long for connection, and for all who wish to grow in an Inclusive Community Engaged in Love.
Join Pastor Jill, certified Taijifit Instructor, at 6:00 pm in the
church building each Wednesday for TaijiFit.
What is Taijifit? It is a simple easy way to “play Tai Chi”, as developer David Dorian Ross would say. The focus is on continuous flow through movements that encourage health and balance, especially as we age.
No experience necessary. If you need to be seated, you can just use your arms.
On the 4th Wednesday of the month following TaijFit,
stay for the Drum Circle at 6:45 pm
NO Drum Circle in February because of Ash Wednesday.
A drum circle is a celebration of life, community, and music-making in the moment. The community drum circle is an opportunity to enjoy a group activity with friends and neighbors. It is a family-friendly event and open to all ages. No previous musical or drumming experience is necessary. It's all about FUN!

The Faith Club is three women, A Muslim, A Christian, and A Jew who are searching for understanding. The book is a memoir of spiritual reflections in three voices, chronicling the blossoming of a profound interfaith friendship and the birth of a new way of relating to each other.
